Expected results | The programme proposes the following types of measures: P1 Innovation and Enterprise invests in the areas of smart specialisation strategies, promotes investment in research and development and supports businesses on issues of cross-border importance:
P2 Climate change and biodiversity focuses on disaster management, risk prevention, ecosystems, environmental protection and biodiversity:
P3 Sustainable tourism and cultural tourism promotes sustainable tourism models:
P4 Local Development funds the implementation of four cross-border local development strategies through the CLLD (Community-Led Local Development) instrument.
P5 Reducing cross-border barriers supports digital solutions developed by public administration for citizens, sustainable mobility, combating brain drain, promoting employment, sharing health services and reducing cross-border barriers:

Project Partnership | Within the framework of the KP Interreg VI-A Italy-Austria, only those projects are funded which have a cross-border character and provide cross-border added value for the entire programme area. Accordingly, each funded project must involve at least two beneficiaries - one from each of the two member states of the KP Interreg VI-A Italy-Austria. The cooperation of all beneficiaries involved in the project is a fundamental condition for the development of the project idea and the success of the project. In this context, it is strongly recommended that all project partners base their cooperation on the following criteria:
