The Joint Secretariat, on behalf of the Managing Authority, announces a competitive call for applications for co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg Poland-Slovakia Program 2021-2027: priority 3. Creative and touristically attractive Borderland, specific objective 1. Strengthening the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation.
Call objectives
Funding may be granted to projects related to cultural and natural heritage or tourism, such as:
- supporting the development of cross-border tourist products, services and offers in order to increase the role of culture and tourism in economic development and social inclusion,
- preserving, making available and promoting tangible and intangible cultural and natural heritage of cross-border importance, including, among others, revitalization of monuments, public spaces,
- creating information and tourism promotion systems that popularize the Program support area as an attractive tourist destination,
- building human capital and raising the level of knowledge, especially in the field of dissemination of sustainable tourism practices and the requirements of the European Green Deal and digital competences.

P3: A borderland that is creative and attractive for tourists
- SO 3.1: Strengthen the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation
- Supporting the development of cross-border competitive / innovative / integrated tourism products / services / offers, in order to enhance the role of culture and tourism in economic development and social inclusion
- Preserving, providing access to and promoting tangible and intangible cultural and natural heritage of cross-border significance
- Creation of tourism information and promotion systems that popularise the region as an attractive tourist destination
- Building human capital and raising the level of knowledge particularly with regard to the dissemination of sustainable tourism practices and the requirements of the European Green Deal (including the New European Bauhaus) and digital competence

- in Poland - in the Śląskie Voivodship: the Bielski subregion and the Pszczyna poviat of the Tyskie subregion; in the Małopolskie Voivodeship: the subregions of Oświęcimski, Nowosądecki, Nowotarski and the Myślenice poviat from the Krakowski subregion; in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship: Krośnieński and Przemyśl subregions, Rzeszów poviat and Rzeszów poviat from the Rzeszów subregion,
- in Slovakia – subregions: Žilina Self-Government and Prešovsky Self-Government and Spišská Nowa Wieś District in Košice Self-Government.

Slovak beneficiaries receive additional national co-financing from the state budget:
-
12% of the eligible costs of each partner,
-
20% of the eligible costs of the partner which is a state administration unit.
Slovak partners who receive public aid or de minimis aid from the ERDF for the implementation of their project activities will not receive national co-financing from the state budget of the Slovak Republic.
The maximum value of co-financing for a project involving infrastructural activities is EUR 4 million, with the co-financing per partner not exceeding EUR 2 million.
The maximum value of co-financing for a project containing only soft measures is 700,000. EUR.
