Call priorities
The Driving Urban Transitions Partnership (DUT) divides its individual call priorities into three transition pathways with common objectives. Austrian applicants can address priorities from all three pathways:
The Positive Energy Districts Transition Pathway (PED)
The Positive Energy Districts Transition Pathway (PED TP) aims to develop innovative solutions for the planning, large-scale implementation and replication of PEDs across Europe. PEDs are energy-efficient and energy-flexible urban areas that generate net-zero emissions while managing renewable energy. Our goal is to initiate 100 PEDs in Europe by 2025 and contribute to the mission for climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030 with an innovation portfolio of PED solutions.
The 15-Minute City Transition Pathway (15minC)
The 15-Minute City Transition Pathway (15mC TP) aims to combine measures in the areas of mobility, logistics, public space and planning to promote and drive the transition to urban mobility. We intend to support strategic frameworks and policies to make sustainable modes of transport the norm in neighborhoods and cities.
The Circular Urban Economies (CUE) Pathway
The Circular Urban Economies Transition Pathway (CUE TP) aims to help cities become more resource efficient and reduce their impact on the planet. CUE encourages cities to implement circular measures that address socio-economic inequalities, promote social cohesion and improve access to urban resources, services and green spaces.
