short description
The aim of the Interreg Czechia-Slovakia programme is to address the common challenges of cross-border regions through joint cross-border projects. This call is for P1 Environment/Biodiversity.
Call objectives
The following priorities and specific objectives have been developed within the programme:
- P1: Environment
- SO 1.2: Enhancing protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution
Expected effects and impacts
In dem Programm werden die folgenden (nicht vollständige Liste) Maßnahmen vorgeschlagen:
P1: Umwelt
- SO 1.2: Verbesserung des Schutzes und der Erhaltung der Natur, der biologischen Vielfalt und der grünen Infrastruktur, auch in städtischen Gebieten, und Verringerung aller Formen der Verschmutzung
- Überwachung des Zustands und der Entwicklung von Arten und Lebensräumen, Erstellung von Studien und Analysen zur Erhaltung der biologischen Vielfalt (z. B. Vorkommen invasiver Pflanzen- und Tierarten, Zustand verschiedener Formen der Umweltverschmutzung) und gemeinsame Suche nach Lösungen, Austausch von Erfahrungen und bewährten Verfahren bei der Nutzung grüner Infrastruktur und der Verringerung der Umweltverschmutzung
- Durchführung gemeinsamer Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung des Zustands von Arten und Lebensräumen, Umsetzung gemeinsamer Strategien und Aktionspläne zur Unterstützung des Baus, der Förderung und der Nutzung grüner Infrastrukturen
- Sensibilisierung für die Bedeutung des Schutzes von Natur und biologischer Vielfalt, Verbreitung von Beispielen bewährter Praktiken

Expected results
The programme proposes the following (non exhaustive) types of measures:
P1: Environment
- SO 1.2: Enhancing protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution
- Monitoring the status and evolution of species and habitats, producing studies, analyses related to biodiversity conservation (e.g. occurrence of invasive plant and animal species, status of different forms of pollution) and jointly seeking solutions, exchange of experience and good practice in the use of green infrastructure and pollution reduction
- Implementation of joint actions to improve the status of species and habitats, the implementation of joint strategies and action plans supporting the construction, promotion and use of green infrastructure
- Raising awareness of the importance of nature and biodiversity conservation, dissemination of examples of good practice

Project Partnership
The minimum eligible partnership must involve at least one partner from each participating Country.
In order to be eligible, projects must contribute to at least three out of the following four cooperation criteria.
- Joint development (mandatory)
- Joint implementation (mandatory)
- Joint financing
- Joint staffing

The programme area in which the implementation of the projects is to have an impact are NUTS III regions - in the Slovak Republic the Trnava self-governing region, the Trenčín selfgoverning region and the Žilina self-governing region, in the Czech Republic the South Moravian region, the Zlín region and the Moravian-Silesian region.
