Description
of programme "Interreg Baltic Sea Region" | The overall objective of the Programme is to strengthen the integrated
territorial development and cooperation for a more innovative, better accessible and sustainable Baltic Sea Region. The Programme
promotes transnational cooperation and integration by projects addressing common key challenges and opportunities of the Baltic
Sea Region. The Programme is divided into four priority axes:

Seed Money Call 2 |
Description of call "Seed Money Call 2" | Seed money is funding to support the preparation of projects in line with the Action Plan of the EU
Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). The Strategy and its Action Plan are structured around three objectives: saving
the sea, connecting the region and increasing prosperity. With seed money support projects can be prepared for any funding
source available in the region. The seed money application procedure consists of two steps: Step 1: Pre-selection by EUSBSR Policy Area and Horizontal Action Coordinators Step 2: Submission of seed money applications to Interreg Baltic Sea Region (only applications pre-selected by PACs/HACs) |

Project Partner Details |
The seed money project partnership should include at least three financially involved organisations representing at least
three different countries. The project should have one coordinating partner - a lead partner - from an EU country of the Baltic
Sea region or Norway. |
Project duration max | 12 months |
Further info | The Programme co-financing is granted for a period of up to 18 months. The
project duration consists of three phases. The first phase is the contracting phase and lasts up to three months starting
from the day after selection of the project. This is followed by the project implementation phase, which will last 12 months,
and finally followed by a three-month closure phase. |
