Description of programme
"ROP Central Macedonia"		 The overall objective of this Regional Operational Programme is to boost economic development and to create employment in the region of Central Macedonia. The Programme also aims to support SMEs in becoming more competitive and innovation-driven. Furthermore, it focuses on the reduction of greenhouse gas and on increasing energy efficiency. In order to achieve these objectives, the Programme is divided into the following Priority Axes (PA):
  • PA01 - Strengthening research, technological development and innovation
  • PA02 - Improving the access, use and quality of information and communication technologies
  • PA03 - Improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises
  • PA04 - Support the transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors
  • PA05 - Promoting adaptation to climate change, risk prevention and management
  • PA06 - Protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency
  • PA07 - Promoting sustainable transport and removing bottlenecks in core network infrastructures
  • PA08 - Promoting sustainable high quality employment and support for worker mobility
  • PA09A - Promoting social inclusion and fighting poverty - ERDF
  • PA09B - Promoting social inclusion and combating poverty - ESF
  • PA10 - Investing in education, skills acquisition and lifelong learning
