Description of programme
"ROP Attica"

This Regional Operational Programme aims to restructure the region's productive base by enhancing sectors with high added value and low environmental impacts. Furthermore, it focuses on making the region more attractive through environmental protection and climate change adaptation. Lastly, the Programme also seeks to ensure social cohesion in the region of Attica. In order to achieve these objectives, the Programme focuses on the following Priority Axes (PA):

PA1 - Strengthening the mechanisms and investments of SMEs in research and innovation
PA2 - Dissemination and development of innovative products and services for SMEs using ICT
PA3 - Enhancing the competitiveness and outreach of SMEs - Improving the attractiveness of the Attica Region to attract investments and promote innovative entrepreneurship
PA4 - Promoting the energy efficiency of renewable energy sources and cogeneration and promoting low-carbon emissions in urban areas
PA5 - Promoting climate change adaptation and risk prevention management
PA6 - Improving the quality of life in urban areas
PA7 - Strengthening regional mobility and multimodal transport connections
PA8 - Promoting the development of skills and adaptability of human resources in the areas of the Regional Strategy of Smart Specialization
PA9 - Promoting social inclusion and fighting poverty and discrimination - Ensuring social cohesion
PA10 - Development - Upgrading of social infrastructures and health infrastructures
PA11 - Development - Upgrading of education infrastructures
