"Creative Europe"

Creative Europe's stated aims are to help the cultural and creative sectors seize the opportunities of the digital age and globalisation, enable the sectors to reach their economic potential, contributing to sustainable growth, jobs, and social cohesion, and to give Europe's culture and media sectors access to new international opportunities, markets, and audiences.
This will, amongst others, involve funding for:

  • artists and cultural professionals
  • cinemas
  • films
  • book translations

Description of programme
Under the Culture sub-programme, opportunities exist for:
  • Cooperation between cultural and creative organisations from different countries;
  • Initiatives to translate and promote literary works across the European Union;
  • Networks helping the cultural and creative sector to operate competitively and transnationally;
  • Establishing platforms to promote emerging artists and stimulating European programming for cultural and artistic works.

Description of call
"Modules for master degrees in art and science"

The action will be implemented through the design and implementation of innovative modules that will be included in existing arts, culture, science, engineering, technology and/or other relevant masters.

The modules should be designed with a view to:

  • Equipping students in arts and creativity, business and technology with the knowledge and core transferable competences they need to work across cultural and creative sectors and disciplines.
  • Improving the quality and relevance of teaching and learning in arts and culture disciplines by linking creativity, business and technology.
  • Developing an entrepreneurial culture among the students and the teaching staff.
  • Stimulating innovative learning environments within and across disciplines through the integration of creative, digital and entrepreneurial education.

Applicant details The coordinator of the application must be a higher education institution (HEI), established in an eligible country, which designs and runs master programmes. The coordinator submits the proposal on behalf of the partners. The coordinator ensures that the action is implemented by all the partners as planned.
Project Partner Yes
Project Partner Details Applicants shall form a consortium of at least one higher education institution (lead applicant) and two partner organisations from three different eligible countries and consist of a lead applicant and partners.

One partner must be a cultural or audio-visual operator active in the cultural and creative sectors as defined in article 2 of the Regulation N° 1295/2013 establishing the Creative Europe Programme.
