"Key Action 2 - Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices"
The actions under KA2 make it possible for organisations from different participating countries to work together, to develop, share and transfer best practices and innovative approaches in the fields of education, training and youth. This subprogramme focuses specifically on the following actions:
  • Sector Skills Alliances
  • Knowledge Alliances
  • Capacity Building in the field of youth
  • Capacity Building in the field of higher education

Description of call
"Erasmus+: Knowledge alliances"

Knowledge alliances are transnational and result-driven activities between higher education institutions and businesses. Knowledge Alliances aim at strengthening Europe's innovation capacity and at fostering innovation in higher education and business. They intend to:

  • develop new, innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning
  • stimulate entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills of higher education teaching staff and company staff
  • facilitate the exchange, flow and co-creation of knowledge

Eligible Organisations:

  • Any public or private organizations from a program country or from any partner country world wide can be involved
  • Higher education institutions in a programme country must hold a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE)
