EuroAccess Macro-RegionsEuroAccess Macro-Regions is an online information and search tool on EU-funding available in four EU Macro-Regions:
- Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR)
- Danube Region (EUSDR)
- Adriatic Ionian Region (EUSAIR)
- Alpine Region (EUSALP)
Its target is to help people with project ideas find suitable sources of EU funding.
EuroAccess contains data from more than 350 EU funding programmes and calls for project proposals within those programmes.
EuroAccess Danube Region (2016 - 2018)
The tool was first developed as a pilot initiative for the Danube Region as support for the implementation of the Action Plan of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). The Vienna-based Priority Area Coordinator of Priority Area 10 (PAC10) "To step up institutional capacity and cooperation" of the EUSDR was entrusted by the European Commission to implement the project EuroAccess Danube Region. The action was targeted "to review bottlenecks relating to the low absorption rate of EU funds and to ensure better coordination of funding" in the Danube Region.
EuroVienna, as affiliated entity to the City of Vienna, was entrusted with the implementation of the EuroAccess.
In 2018, the scope of the tool was expanded to provide its service to four EU Macro-Regions. As of 2020, additional EU funding sources that target geographic regions outside of these Macro-Regions are included as well. The goal is to feature all available EU funding programmes, while still maintaining the service to support the Macro-Regions in particular.
